  • 1960 – British Labour party demanded unilateral nuclear disarmament.
  • 1961 – China & Nepal signed a treaty.
  • 1962 – James bond makes his theatrical debut in Dr. No. Based on the 1958 Ian Fleming novel.

  • 2000 – President of the federal republic of Yugoslavia was overthrown in the wake of the Bulldozer Revolution.
  • 2011 Steve Jobs, the American businessman who co-founded Apple Inc., Pixar, died.
